It's hard to fathom a more perfect supergroup for this era of indie rock (whatever indie means anymore). Bridgers, Dacus, and Baker all seem to enhance each other's writing without losing what makes them great individually. thepirc
With “In Silver Halides,” Lowpines have created a collection of rich, textured, deeply-felt rock songs abounding in small sonic details. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 26, 2018
Pretty late to the the Lucy Dacus party, stumbling in via the boygenius hype. I've had this album on repeat for a couple of weeks, it's my go-to for when I can't decide what else to play. Starts with a bang and really doesn't let up. The quality of the writing is exceptional - both cinematic and intimate. Great late night headphones album. kiloran
